Every generation can make itself feel morally superior when looking back at the worst societal norms of prior eras. It is much, much harder to address the moral blind spots in one's own time. If Clemson wanted to do something really novel and morally praiseworthy, it would be to announce that no quarter will be given to those who support the killing of unborn children, which ironically disproportionately impacts the black community. I wouldn't hold my breath though. That will be left for a future generation which will rightfully look back at us with contempt and disgust.

at this rate, take down the pyramids since they were built by slaves. Lets erase Khan, Alexander the Great, Rome, etc from the books since these people/civilizations had slaves and/or oppressed people. Idk where it ends, bc Im not a "victim" who gets to have a voice.
