All of these "We can win" posts bother me

It makes it seem like we are a 21 point underdog. Last time I checked the spread was less than a TD. Obvioulsy any team that is less than a TD underdog has a good chance to win. I am taking the approach that if we play well then we will win. I am not saying I know we will win because I don't know how we will play after the layoff. I think early momentum is going to play a huge factor in this game. We need to come out sharp!

Y'all remember the bowl games in Coach Ford's hay day? He would take his troops down to Florida for what seemed like the entire month of December. But you give that man a month to prepare his team for an opponent, he got the job done! (i.e.State Penn, Oklahoma, Nebraska, WV, OSU, etc.)
Hope Dabo does the same. Go Tigers!

I'm saying we should win because I think we should play well. It remains to be seen if we will or not, but everything surrounding the game gives us the oppotunity to play well.

There are so many people that think we have NO chance and that LSU is going to destroy us that many other fans have to defend our position and state that we can in fact win this game and in fact I'd say that I agree with you that if we play well we will win this game. LSU has looked very vulnerable this year and their QB is not impressive, at all.

To be fair, LSU's offense has improved immensely since the beginning of the season.
Mettenberger was not at all impressive in the beginning of the season, but it seems as if the light bulb went off in his head, and he's starting to look like what he was cracked up to be before the season started.
He's not there yet, but he's certainly on his way if he keeps it up. And with a month to prepare, I'm sure he'll only get better.

FSU n' SCU. They man-handled our defense in the 2nd half n' forced our offense to punt.
That is the challenge racking Dabo's brain; how can we be the better team in the SECOND half??
Looking at our two losses, I don't want to but I'm starting to believe that our only chance of victory is to have at least a +2 turnover margin.
