I thought it may have just been me but after talking to others the crowd Saturday was loud at times but nothing like the Louisville game. I was at Miami in 2005 and the last part of the game and OT it was as loud as I have ever heard DV. UGA in 1981 when they had Hershel and they were defending National Champs was right up there.

The Louisville game (inspired by Petrino) was just unbelievable, especially after D. Watson got hurt. I mean those around me never sat down and it was loud on every down. The crowd effected the game with the false starts,etc. Saturday, I guess may be because it was a noon game (no drinking time), kind of cool on home side in shade, etc. was just not crazy loud. It had moments and I do not think I hardly saw anyone sitting down at all but the noise was just not what I expected. I also think part of it was that everybody was just so tense just wanting to end the streak.

I sit in the West EZ and our end was the loudest of the year

Also did not sit down at all - and we're a pretty old crowd.

But overall, I agree - not as load as Louiville. The game also wasn't as close and there were a lot more visiting fans in the stadium.

I thought of that one too. Everybody was fuming because of us being on probation and we wanted to send a message to ACC, Maryland you name it.
