much of anything. Al Golden, seriously, the hurricanes have been loaded with talent and they have been very mediocre under Golden.

And there you have why South Carolina has been successful. And there you have the reason that when Spurrier leaves the Cock's football program is going to crash just like the basketball program crashed when McGuire left. Kids go to play for SOS. The don't go to play for Carolina.

One trouble spot for Swinney is his record against rival South Carolina and Florida State. The Gamecocks have won five in a row over Clemson, while the Tigers are 2-4 under Swinney against the Seminoles. In order for Swinney to take the next step as a head coach, he has to consistently beat Florida State and South Carolina. -
