NC State at Clemson (-20) Clemson (-10) at Florida State Louisville at Clemson (-20.5)
I'd be shocked if we covered NC St and FSU after last year's performances.

Look at NCSU's depth chart, especially on defense, and the players that they lost to the NFL. They have a great QB, but I doubt the talent level on this team will be anywhere close to what they fielded last year. They will likely be in a fight for third place in the ACC Atlantic.

I'll guarantee right now that at FSU is going to be a nail biter. Last time we were down there we barely escaped with DW4. They're getting a healthy Francois back and their RBs are no joke. I'll rescind my opinion depending on if TL becomes the starter by then or not to see how our offense is doing.
Finley can give our secondary fits.

Are they getting Francois back? Last I heard he got

arrested and his future was a bit uncertain. Since its major college football and winning gets placed ahead of virtually everything else I would guess he's there next year, but I don't think it's a given at this point.

Finley is going to give Clemson fits

From flat on his back? Uh uh. And his coach is Doeren...his specialty is laptops, not football. If NCSU couldn't win with what they had last year, .500 will look good with this year's team...and that's ONLY because of Finley.
Only injuries will change the spreads in any appreciable way...that's always a wildcard. That's what I'll check back for.

These spreads will be very, very different week of each game

That's why people go out to South Point this week and wait in those long lines to get these early lines. Michigan vs Notre Dame has already moved 8 points. I wouldn't be shocked to see pros bet down NC State to the 24 point range. I'd take FSU, because as of now I can't see us being too much more of a favorite in Tallahassee. The upside of that line would be betting FSU +10 now then +3 when the game is played (if the start off favorably) and living in that 3-10 range while drinking your juice outside of it.
Clemson -20.5 vs Louisville interests me. The toll of playing Alabama week 1 essentially ruined FSUs season. Louisville doesn't have close to the depth that FSU does all while trying to replace the greatest player in school history. Clemson could be a 5 TD favorite in this one if Louisville loses ACC games against Wake Forest and Boston College in the weeks leading up.

I think we could/should cover all those, but lets not kid ourselves. We know Dabo's history (unless its the coots) when it comes to blowouts and just sitting on a 3 possession lead or letting up a garbage TD late to not cover. I can see us up 20-30+ in most....its just that final qtr when the backups come in.

It depends on who is playing QB...

If KB is the starter and plays entire games, I don't see us beating teams by 3 scores. Put TLaw in and it's a different story.
More importantly, ONLY 100 DAYS TO GO! Go Tigers!
