Only 4,300 tickets given to Clemson by NCSU???

Nov 16, 2011, 8:21 PM

This seems like such a small amount. Does the ACC not require a minimum amount or percentage of each stadium's total capacity?

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett

Clemson, Va Tech and Fla State are the only

schools in the ACC that require more tickets than that-the other schools only need hundreds, not thousands except for some rivalry games (UNC/NCSU).

It is pretty bad if you ask me, not only the low number of tickets but the areas that they have the away team in at Carter Finley is ridiculous. They more less give the away team each corner of the upper decks. Not only the least wanted tickets but separating the away teams fans from each other.

given the fan enthusiasm up here...

if you want to go to the game you will definitely be able to buy tickets outside the gate if you want.

it only holds 57,000

so by percentage that's a large amount

contract

Nov 17, 2011, 8:28 AM

Each school has a contract with one another stipulating the amount tickets that you get when you go there and when the opposing team comes here. but also most schools still send back tickets

i thought i had read one time it was a min 8% rule.

schools have to share a min of 8% of capacity but can share more if they choose.
