Vick Beasley was a three star recruit out of GA. Clowney

Mar 27, 2017, 6:42 PM

was a five star and #1 recruit out of the bag man's city of Rock Hill. Beasley won the NFL's Most Sacks award this past year. My question is, "Which school develops athletes better than the other?" I think I already know the answer.

The same thing has applied to Georgia - look at all the.....

Top 10 recruiting classes they've had in the past ten years with nothing to show for them.

No doubt, Dabo and his assistants know how to develop talent.

Would you rather have Clowney's 22 million

Mar 27, 2017, 7:31 PM [ in reply to Re: Vick Beasley was a three star recruit out of GA. Clowney ]

and not the best stats or Beasley's 14 million and a sack trophy?

Clown's doing okay

Where did that comment come from?

OP was not talking about money at all. OP was not even comparing Clowney the person to Vic. The comparison was the development in talent. If things continue the way they are, I will gladly take Vic's career earnings over Clowney's.

Pointing out Clowney's failure to XM probably is not

Mar 28, 2017, 2:20 AM

a good strategy. Clowney was number 1 player in HS, went to the coots and became number 1 drafted player and 22 million dollars richer despite being injured. Yes, Clemson did have a player that was not as highly recruited make it to the NFL and succeed, and some that didn't, but XM sees himself as the best and much more like the clown.

I think I'd be quite happy either way.

Umm...... I'd be ok with either paycheck, but if VB keeps things going, he'll come out ahead.

clowney has been hurt and had major

Knee surgery.

That scenario has slowed a lot of good players over the years.

We will see how it all shakes out in 5-7 years.
