Simple Really

If NC State wins out, they are in. This is what you call, the driver's seat. But, because they lost to Afghanistan's team, they are out of the play offs no matter what.

If Cuse wins out and we beat NC State (but we lose nothing else) or if NC State drops 2 games, Cuse is in.

If we win out (and Cuse drops one), we're in.

If FSU wins out, no one cares.

I think Lville will beat FSU this weekend so they won't be a factor with 3 losses in ACC.

Cuse at miami, at FSU, at Lville, and home against BC and Wake. With their QB, they have a shot to win all or go 4-1 but likely 3-2 at best which gives them 3 losses in ACC.

It is either going to be NCSU or Clemson. NCSU has the easier schedule with at BC, at Wake, Clemson and UNC at home.

Disagree that they don't make playoffs if they win out

NCSU winning out would include wins over FSU, Lamar Jackson, Clemson, Notre Dame, and likely Miami. That's an impressive resume that relegates an ugly opening loss to SCar as a distant memory.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think the ACC Atlantic

would potentially be decided at the Clemson-NCSU game. FSU won't even be a factor by November 11. I think we'll have little problem getting by GT because we will come out angry and focused (and the extra week to prepare is nice), but the NCSU game is suddenly much harder to call. Simply put we have to beat them; their conference schedule after us is nothing but creampuffs. Wake might surprise them. Might.

It's mind-boggling that Cuse still has a shot to take the division, but that's an awful long shot.

Regarding CLEMSON, it appears to me that it is critical that CLEMSON wins every conference game, and that Cuse and NCSU lose at least ONE MORE CONFERENCE GAME. So - CLEMSON is in THIRD place IMO and needs help from other teams to take care of Cuse for us.

None of that matters. If Clemson wins out we're in the Playoffs. Period. If we don't win out, we don't deserve to be in the Playoffs. You can't ask for a better scenario than that. We still control our own destiny. All it takes is winning. That won't be easy. NCState will be a tough game and the Coots will be tougher to beat than last year, though we'll still beat them by 2 touchdowns. Miami is the likely ACC Championship contender and they won't be a cake walk. But the Tigers will beat them by 14. Who knows who we'll get in the bowl games but we're either going to have to beat Bama or Georgia to win back to back Natty's. It's do-able and I still like our chances. Go Tigers!
