Expect him to start next year if Lawson goes to the NFL. Would have played this year had he not got hurt early. Will be just as good as Lawson

Felt like he was the most impressive on film of all the defensive ends we signed last year. He, Bryant, Register and Yeargin will all be studs.

I honestly felt Bryant looked the best. Ferrell reminds me of Ricky Sapp tbh. I think he will be a nightmare on obvious passing downs. Very excited about the depth of the D-Line.

To me, I think after Lasamuel Davis gets there and put on more weight, he'll be the real deal. He reminds me more of Ricky Sapp than anybody else on that line...and yea he just may be wearing that #7 next year. I see Dabo is saving that number for him too.

I hope he doesn't pick 7 as his number. I just have a thing about d-line guys wearing single digit numbers. I love how our d-line looks now with 90, 48/94, 56/42, and 98. He could have 97 though.

Yea but hunk about it like this....7 looks good on him...he'd look ridiculous wearing a number in the 90's with his small frame...those are big guy numbers

Even if he chose a number in the 40's or 50's. A single digit number best fits his frame

He has A LOT of work to do as far as pass rushing goes though. I think he's more of a run stopper. Like Mallicah Goodman and Corey Crawford.

IF Lawson leaves? He's leaving.

One of his close family members works at an office I visit every few months. He's done after this year. Cashing in and I don't blame him.

Lawson is gone. Dodd will likely stay and be in a massive rotation with Dodd and Yeargin/Bryant starting, backed up by Rogers, Ferrell, and Register.

I definitely see Dodd in the Bell Cow roll as the leader and the next first rounder.

Clelin tore up his knee towards the end of his senior year in HS. He was impressed that CLEMSON never wavered on their offer and their support. He wasn't really recovered until recently. With a complete off-season and weight program, he will be a stud.

Was on the redshirt bubble but broke his hand in fall camp
Nov 12, 2015, 7:14 AM

"Clelin is on the bubble," Swinney said. "His break in his hand is a little more serious [than Mark Fields]. He has a cast on his hand too. He's a guy right now we could go either way with. We are just going to have to see how it all plays out in the next few weeks. Probably will not make a decision for a while until 100 percent."
Was 257 at the weigh in. http://www.tigernet.com/story/football/The-Big-Weigh-In-The-numbers-13926
"Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said after Tuesday's practice that several more freshman will get the opportunity to redshirt their freshman year. The following players were on the bubble: Tucker Israel, Clelin Ferrell, Chad Smith and Adam Choice. Two offensive linemen that Swinney said would redshirt were Noah Green and Zach Giella."

I think once these upper classmen move on, we'll see Yeargin & Bryant starting at the ends. Yeargin has played great when given the opportunity this season, and Bryant was getting a lot of pressure on Maguire when Dodd was out.
