Had a wonderful GR for thirteen years. Miss her even after 38 years. They bond and give so much more than they take. So many memories!

have known many grs over the years,and they are great dogs,but our family has always been partial to airedales.father in law was a breeder.our first though was from n. augusta when I was at ft. jackson.lately we've down-sized to welsh terriers,but the mrs. has been wanting another airehead(as we like to affectionately call them),so we'll probably be getting one in the spring.both great breeds.

Mine will be 12 next month...he's my best friend ever...we live on the lake and I can't keep him out of it no mater what the temp...we walk several miles a day...gonna kill me to lose him

get another one.he or she won't ever replace the one you lost,but a new pup or rescue will help fill the void by opening a new chapter.i still miss each and every dog we've ever had and hope to see them all again some day.
