No, although you may want to check 26 between 95

and Columbia with Google. About 1 out of three times I detour that section because of wrecks depending on traffic. If the red traffic is between Orangeburg and Columbia, hop off on 601, head north, hang a left in Jamison, go back over interstate 26 and hang a right on 21. Follow that all the way until it hits 26 again.

Id go 521 and not worry about the extra 20 minutes

Just because I hate the interstate

BFE. Looks like he can make it up through Jamestown

Sep 19, 2019, 4:55 PM

to St. Stephens, then hop over to Greelyville and take 521/261/378 to Colatown. Alternately, he could go over by Monkey's Corner and hit 26 around Ridgeville or so. Not sure if going all the way down to Mt. Pleasant, and then the Mark Clark traffic in Charleston is best, but who knows. I'd hop on 26 in Ridgeville or do the other route myself.

and as added info.....

Sep 19, 2019, 4:50 PM [ in reply to Not sure where you're coming from, but I always prefer ]

that route gets me from Greenville to the Fields of Litch in 3:30-3:45, so I'd imagine it would be about the same to McClellanville or wherever you're going.

All the nav apps hate the route so you have to sort of just go that way, and around Pinewood, Waze finally relents and starts routing correctly. It's quicker though.

As long as you snag a baller PO and can get turned around to Clemson by 3:30 to start tailgating, it’s solid. Only way I am driving that far is if there is an incremental order or a new seasonal order coming my way.
