The flag was for Diggs taking his helmet off and throwing it. No one was anywhere near where it landed but still a penalty LOL. The officials didn't actually enforce it, though, I guess because it would normally be done on the ensuing kickoff?

It was more of a " Game Losing Play " by the Saints , in my view .
Just a terrible whiff at the exact wrong time by 43 .

Watching that kinda got me thinking- if this were 10 years ago, Stephon Diggs would've been pulverized by 43 and there would've been no consequence from it. I understand why all these safety rules are in place, but at the same time, getting absolutely wasted by a safety on that type of play used to be part of the game.
