Charlotte recruiting area, why does BV and Scott not

Apr 25, 2013, 10:32 AM

have an area in NC to recruit.

Charlotte is big in recruiting and Clemson isn't pushing the entire state like they do in SC and Georgia.

The best I remember is that BV and Scott neither have a specific area to recruit in N. C., why.

I think all coaches have areas in Georgia, SC, Florida, and a few of them have N. C.

I think only about 4 coaches had areas in N.C., Reed, Pearman, Caldwel and Brooks. Likely the 4 weakest recruiters we have.

Why not get Morris, BV, Scott into the Charlotte and Eastern NC area to and give them small areas but in the areas of important recruits. Divide Charlotte up into 3 or 4 sections and give Pearman help.

here are the coaches recruiting areas in

SC
Brooks (greenville/greer), Morris (anderson), Scott (spartanburg), BV (columbia), Reed (Gwood, N.Aug), Pearman (grand strand another big area, why), Caldwell (Pee Dee), Hobby (manning area), and Elliott (Low country)

NC
Brooks (asheville, W/s), Pearman (charlotte, union, stanley, lexinton), Caldwell (G-boro, triangle area of Durham/Raleigh), Reed (eastern NC)

Georgia
Morris (gainsville, just one area), BV (cobb county, one county?), Scott (s.east georgia), Pearman (valdosta area), Elliott, Reed, Hobby, Caldwell

Florida
Morris (panhadle area), Scott (jacksonville, gainsville area), Eliott, Hobby, BV (Miami, West Palm beach)

as big as NC is 100 counties compared to SC 46 counties, and we have only 4 recruiters and none of them big name coaches on our staff.

I hope Dabo revisits this and gets more coaches into the Charlotte area and the state of nc next year.

I think they will benefit more just staying in the Southeast and East Coast

we might get a look from kids as far away as Texas but I don't think we get any high profile kids from there to here

We got pretty good tight ends.

thats a low blow.

Pearman is at least doing a good job coaching the TE's.

Every position Hines touched turned to crap.

it's clear that you should've gotten the AD job.....***

I think it's clear Pearman isn't doing a great job of

recruiting in Charlotte.

I would give the AD job a real shot, I would stand up for Clemson in the ACC meeting with Swofford and demand better prime time games and more of them

Mostly I would enjoy the income
