Does this mean it could be Clemson vs. USC in the Peach Bowl? Cause that would just be silly

Spurrier vs. B. Bowden -- they'd eat that up.

Taking a 7-4 USC team that just got beat down by a 7-4, top 25 Clemson team that has won 5 of its last 6.

choose. The SEC "sends" pre-selected members to individual bowl games, while the ACC allows the bowls to "select" from among its members.

it. I'm not sure how this is done contractually - if it's just a general agreement, you might be right. I'd say that the SEC needs the Peach a lot more than the Peach needs the SEC anymore. In that case, the Peach might decide to take whoever they please...

taking USC.... Miami goes to BCS; Gator takes VPI (and FSU probably wouldn't want another game in Jax anyway) and Peach Bowl really has to take FSU... and personally, the ACC runnerup shouldn't fall beneath the Peach Bowl IMO... they shoudln't get penalized for an extra loss because they were in the ACC Champ game.... So Peach takes FSU and USC is the logical team to play them because...
SEC West Champ goes to BCS assumign they win; SEC East Champ (UGA) goes to Citrus; Cotton Bowl takes Auburn or Alabama Outback Bowl takes Auburn or Alabama Peach Bowl is next up and they'll take USC guaranteeing a sellout with USC

to not take an 8-3 UF team(who beat FSU) vs. CU 7-4(who beat both FSU and UCS) over a 7-4 UCS team that lost it's last game and a 7-5 FSU team that lost it's last 4. 2 ranked teams playing or 2 non-ranked.

Florida (8-3) over 7-5 unranked FSU that has lost 4 straight and 7-4 unranked USC that just got beat at home by Clemson.
A Clemson-Florida Peach Bowl would be a bigger game than USC-FSU.

They lose in the champ game, LSU goes to BCS. Alabama goes to Cotten, Auburn goes to outback, UGA goes to Peach.

is possible GT will beak UGA and if they lose SECG then they will be 8-4 having lost their last 2. Their have been times when an SEC runner-up has fallen to the PB.

However, that would only come at the expense of a USC win over Clemson, which hopefully wont happen. I'd love to see us go to the Peach and play Alabama, but I doubt 'Bama will fall to the Peach, even if they lose to Auburn on Saturday afternoon.

personally i dont see how we can go to the peach bowl unless Georgia slips to the peach bowl and let us play because of the rivalry thing or whatever. because there are teams that beat us higher in the acc like boston college and georgia tech beat us so they could get it over us but you know that if they have the chance they would take fsu with south carolina because bobby bowden spurrier and fsu just sounds good so we will probubly end up in charlotte or boise idaho
