Seriously, it's cool that Rick Perry is getting some publicity before we all forget who he is again. And he's going to fix the illegal immigration problem too, which is awesome.
(But he's taking unilateral executive action in order to accomplish it. Pubs hate that! Except when they don't.)

Put National Guard on the border long enough to build a fence. Boom. Problem solved. Place Border Patrol up and down the fence and use them as they were intended. Funnel them into checkpoints.

not to mention this recent influx is children who are looking for American officials to turn themselves into for care. They are trying to get caught in other words. So, all this seems to be doing is giving more authorities for the kids to turn themselves in.
