With Thompson stepping up, I see the staff moving Cain to compete with hopper for his 2nd team job. Think that potion fits him better anyway.

Just saying....

a lot of receivers will see the field for that matter. But not all them will get a ton of balls thrown their way. Or significant minutes in major games.
IMO, Cain will!
Don't bank on Cain being 2nd team for very long. Sure Scott and Williams will lead the way, but I expect Cain (McCloud) to make a huge difference....Sooner rather than later.
the 2 players on the clock: Peake and Hopper**

Agree ,people are getting caught up on this third team thing. Cain and Mccloud are playmakers. They'll get their share relax and hope we come out of this camp healthy. With Louisville and N.Dame lurking we will need them all. Show concern for the oline.

There is ZERO CHANCE Cain replaces Peake this season unless he isn't healthy. Williams, Scott and Peake will lead the way. IMO, RRM3 gets more snaps than Cain, but both will be eased into competition during our first 2 cupcakes. By mid-season, they both get significant snaps, but this is Hopper and Peakes year...it's now or never for those 2. They've put the work in this summer, and I don't see them being replaced by true freshmen. Just my 2 cents though.

Hopper hasn't proven anything and has been very inconsistent, can could easily beat him out. This camp is for hopper career IMO

Agree on Hopper, but NOT on Peake. If he stays in one piece, he could be our #1 WR in 2015.

Can we just name Cain "The Blur"? Geez - that guy is fast, and can separate. I can't imagine too many that going to outperform him.

A receiver is a receiver. Can't they be interchangeable? Just block some, catch the ball, and run (real fast)!

I see Cain getting more playing time this season the Ray Ray. Ray Ray will be a huge help on special teams, but honestly with so much depth I don't see him having a ton of passed thrown his way. Cain will be a second team guy, but a lot of people are forgetting just how could Peake is... I don't see Cain beating out Peake for the starting job, this is the first time in his career Peake has been 100% and he's hungry and ready to finally show what he can do. The only way I see Cain as a starter is if Peake goes down... Again.

I think Ray Ray will have equal to more snaps than Cain

His ability to change direction, quickness and ability to make guys miss will make it hard for the coaches to keep him off the field. I could the coaches having a certain type of package for him as i think he may be our first true hybrid RB/WR
