...and the Death Valley field management team worked hard that offseasons of 2020

to make sure the grass would be ready to stay green, beautiful, and in top condition that upcoming season. After all, the CU football program, fans, and all around facilities are world class. The grass on the field should be also.

GO TIGERS!

Mike Echols and his crew do a fabulous job. While the color of the grass is important for fans and television viewers, it is the things you do not see that make our field great. Cultural practices like aerification, vert-cutting, and topdressing are the things that fans don't see, but keep the grass healthy and establish a god root system. The maintenance crew is like the long snapper. If you never hear their name, they have done a great job, Cudos to all of they guys and probably gals on the crew.
