Americans with tax issues aren't getting their coronavirus stimulus checks. They suspect the IRS is delaying payment
Many Americans who are due an income-tax refund and a coronavirus stimulus check haven't gotten either. They suspect there's a connection.

had'em 'done' early, and getting a decent return...wanted to see how much more I could squeeze out of it, but then got SICK the Wednesday before tax day, like 103°+ fever for a couple days, slept 27 hours straight in there somewhere...

filed an extension, and by the time I eventually went to go file, I couldn't e-file it anymore.

no biggie, just print it out, sign & mail...

well, I did, but what I printed out had stuff redacted on it, yada yada yada, still haven't sent it in.


had I know that it would hold up a pandemic spawned stimulus check, well...maybe I wouldn't have been so lazy

horrible results....horrible. still have some rental expenses/depreciation to enter that should help

they extended the deadline, and I'm swamped w/ work, so it got put on the backburner.

initially, for the stimulus, they were going to look at '19 taxes, then 18'...and if neither of those were available, then your SSI withholding, so i wasn't really under the gun...

but then they changed their own rules
