Apparently the first time we brought those out, it was against the shamecocks and we destroyed them.
I'm not against the all orange. Just saying Dabo, traditionally, goes with orange and white. He doesn't seem to venture out much.

why not?it is solid orange day plus danny ford gets inducted into ring of honor the man who introduced the orange pants..would make sense....then go back to reg. gameday unis.

Uhhhh the first time we wore all orange was in 1981 against Georgia. Actually, we had them for about a year. Danny Ford asked Jeff Davis if we should wear them or trash them because Danny thought they were dumb. Davis loved the idea and said we should try them out against Georgia.
We won, and that catapulted us to our National Championship win.
We beat LSU in a big game. If we are gunna go all the way, this year is gunna be it. Clemson hasn't been in this position in a long time. I think opening this season against Georgia in all orange is perfect.

I hope so, I know dabo doesn't like to stray from the usual uniforms, but this is going to be one of the biggest games Death Valley has seen in a while

I like the current system. White pants all the time. Orange tops at home, white away. No need to jazz it up. Nothing extra for the players to discuss at practice.

on the night Danny Ford goes into the Ring of Honor - I can't think of a better person and opportunity to meet the team in the lockerroom before they board the buses and deliver a history lesson and pass the orange pants out.

I could be totally wrong, but the last time we wore orange pants was in the WV bowl game, correct? If so, burn them.
I do not know this statement to be true, but I watch every game (and re-watch it on my DVR through out the week). That is at least the last time I remember us wearing non-white pants.
Lot 1 will be rowdy 8/31/13. Tweet that!
