Not really a tough question.

Vince Young was a rich man's Connor Shaw: scrambled away from pressure in a way that bought maximum amounts of extra time; then when he committed to running the ball, he never let a tackler get a clean shot that would stop him in his tracks; he (Young) was also such a big load that he could usually gain several more yards after contact. So even when your defense had achieved a 3rd-and-long, you only stood a 50% chance of getting off the field after the next play.

Cam Newton is the same but has never proved such high value under the spotlight.

Or maybe defenses have learned to stop one-trick ponies like that.

So I'm sure I'm not biased to say that DW4 is better for that scenario because he has a more diversified game than that. I believe DW4 reads coverage. All VY could read was a LB's eyes (very well). I think DW4 has a stronger, more accurate arm(though i could be wrong since i haven't seen VY throw for a long time). I've always loved DW4's "Follow me" type of leadership.

And as we all know, DW4 will make sure to score that winning TD while only leaving the other team 1 second to respond.

VY's win in the Natty might have been more dramatic, but DW's was more compelling.

Not that I'm biased or anything.
