One thing I've learned, "goofing off" (eg. drinking and pot, parties, etc.) in and of itself does not mean you'll be a failure. What makes you a failure are bad grades. I know some brilliant straight-A booze hounds, partiers, and druggies in HS. Also know some of them who flunked out. Kavanaugh is no different.
