Curse you ConAgra for discontinuing the sale of Penrose Pickled Sausages. Those suckers helped make me the man I am today. They are sorely missed. For now, Tijuana Mama will have to carry me home.

I make decent money in my post 30- life (not rich, but 6 figures by myself and two incomes in the home). Only reason for saying that is to explain why I'm surrounded by people who all turn their nose up at cars, trucks, beer, food, and hotel/camping accommodations that all seems perfectly acceptable to me. I was pretty much raised on bud/busch/natural light, pickled eggs, hot sausages, and hot n spicy pork rinds. It took me until I went to college to realize you could go on a fishing trip without eating saltines, vienna sausages, beenie weenies and bologna sandwiches with sandwich spread. I still enjoy canned mustard sardines.
So as you can imagine, I get funny looks from most of the people I'm forced to socialize with nowdays. Even the folks I can convince to go hunt look at me funny when I say I'd prefer to butcher my own deer instead of taking them to the processor and proceed to cut out the heart, liver, and tongue for consumption. I guess you can put lipstick on a pig, but not keep him out of Teh Jounge.
