REGARDLESS OF WHO WINS THE QB BATTLE...

Aug 7, 2018, 6:46 PM

Clemson Nation needs to rally behind whoever starts and cheer your hearts out for the man in the arena. There is no sense in crying over who takes the first snaps in practice or directly after a kickoff in real time. If you can remember, Kelly Bryant had a comfortable lead on many opponents last season. He jumped out to a 14 point lead quickly and most of that was attributed to our ground game. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the dang show folks. I mean, the man put his time in the trenches for Clemson University and I think we owe him the benefit of a doubt at this point. Let's see how it plays out and trust in Coach Swinney. I can guarantee you that Dabo will not allow a loss on the schedule over loyalty to an individual player. It just won't happen. I can see any player getting benched this season if they're not performing to the level of the Clemson Football standard. Trust me, we can go ahead and make room for that oculus trophy because it's coming. GO TIGERS!

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

In all honesty, one has to believe that it will resemble a 2-QB team this year. I expect BOTH of the QB's to get plenty of PT, and so will Chase Brice. I don't see the offense slowing down very much regardless of which guy is in the game.

Look at the Syracuse game. If HJ had played, chances are we would have won that game. At a minimum, we would have had a chance to win.

Dabo stuck with KB too long. Then he went to Cooper, who was a disaster.

Not sure Dabo will make a change given what we saw last season.

Screw Calford.

I would say zerrick barely had the ball the second half. While he didn’t play great he was by no means a disaster. The offense put up 14 points with him and had opportunities to put up more if we trusted our kicker. I think he gets to much flack for that. I firmly believe we win that game if he starts from the beginning.
