It sits on the shelf at every decent beer store here in Columbia as well as all over the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. I could easily go grab a case today if I felt so inclined to spend $120

Is Guinness a stout? If so, Guinness. Just because Guinness is about the only dark beer I drink.

Yes my son, Guinness is a stout, THE stout in fact. Brewed by Guinness at St James' Gate, Dublin, Ireland. Served at room temp, on tap & pushed with nitrogen, there is no finer brew. Served this way it takes 10 min to draw an Imperial pint (20oz).

KBS is fantastic, but if you can score some Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout, it may be even better. CBS and BCBS are obviously amazing as well!

Big fan of Creature Comforts down in Athens. Their See the Stars imperial stout was one of my favorites, along with Coast's Blackbeerd.

Several Prairie stouts (Pirate BOMB!, BA BOMB!, Apple Brandy Noir), The Bruery Chocolate Rain and Black Tuesday, Westbrook BA 4th Anniversary and BA Coconut Mexican Cake, and Avery Tweak to name a few.
KBS is a good beer and was my introduction to barrel aged stouts but there is better out there.
