Jimbo won a National Championship and several Conference Championships .
Taggart has done nothing but lose one football game , although I agree it must have been hard for Poppa Bowden to watch that game tonight and not feel like things aren't very FSU-like .

I'd imagine he's pretty happy to see some of his old assistants welcome on the campus again. It'll take them a while to clean up the mess Jimbo left behind, but they will be back.

FSU lost 3 or more games in all over Bowden's final 9 seasons there with their highest finish in the final rankings being 10th in 2003 which was their only top 10 finish during that time. They lost 5 or more games 6 times during that stretch, and lost 5 or more games in 4 of his final 5 seasons, and finished outside the top 25 in 3 of his final 4 years. They went a combined 16-16 in the ACC over his final 4 years. How exactly did his program go downhill after he left?
