Mac Lain will "cry like a baby" during emotional Senior Day

Senior offensive lineman Eric Mac Lain wears his emotions on his sleeve, and those emotions are evident whether you’re talking to him one on one, noticing the hug he gives his parents during Tiger Walk, seeing him in an interview session or watching him man the left guard spot for the Tigers on college football Saturdays Full Story »

ambassador for Clemson. Funny, charming, and I see him coaching and recruiting.

Go Tigers. Enjoy the day (And special season) Seniors!

Best six years of my life!

That's what keeps me coming back.

The leadership of these seniors is a LARGE reason why Clemson has had a special season. (I wonder if Battle has had any second thoughts about leaving?)

I did too

when my time was done as a student.

They had to drag me kicking and screaming across the stage and force a diploma on me. I really don't understand folks that can't wait to get out of college. I've had a good life over the last 30 years since I graduated but I'd go back in a heartbeat (if I could trade in this 53 year old body)

You hear "I can't wait to graduate" all the time.

I'd bet those people eat their words pretty quickly.

There's something in these hills.

I managed to keep my emotions in check on graduation day

Nov 19, 2015, 2:49 PM [ in reply to I did too ]

until I was on 18 Mile Road about to intersect Highway 88, and I saw the mountains in my rear view mirror. That's when I lost it. I had to pull into the gas station for about 15 minutes to get my composure back. Graduation was simultaneously one of the best and worst days of my life. If I could have stayed longer, I would have.
