He calls Swinney untethered from reality but then goes on to state that Clemson will be in the top 4 once the beat UVA next week...meaning that Clemson has to be undefeated to get into the top 4... EXACTLY what Swinney has been saying. Alabama was rated #5 last week and they had one loss. Their schedule is as bad as Clemson's.

If Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma or Texas were the defending national champions with a 27-0 record over the past two year they would ALL be rated either #1 or #2 regardless of their schedule.

SI used to be a really good sports magazine.

It's nothing but pure garbage nowdays.
