long weekend recap

Got 10" snow in Denver on Friday, that was all the fresh snowfall. VW Atlas had a lot of room inside butt is a crappy vehicle
When in Denver, stop by Edwards Meats. We got a 2" thick 3.5lb dry aged porterhouse and it was wonderful. Bacon, bfast sausage, and jerky is also great there.
Breck skiing is the best. Nice mixture of slopes. Peaks 10 and 9 for the win especially when grabbing close in parking where you can almost ski to your car for beers and lunch.
Vail has awesome groomed back bowls and the green/blue/black slopes are more difficult than their Breck equivalent. Parking is crap, $50 for a parking garage and a long walk to the gondola. Love that gondola ride at the end of the day though.
Downstairs at Eric's is always a weiner. Irregardless of the bad reviews, North Side pizza has some tasty pies with lots of sauce and topping choices. Lost Cajun was good and they have a location in Greenville. Breck distillery was a waste of time. They are more in pushing their food ($60 chicken?) than their liquor. Broken Compass brewery is a cool place with tasty beers. Always got to got to Breck brewery, their hazy IPA was good.
