You do realize he got us to the sweet sixteen, we owned Tobacco Road this year, and we are the only team this year to beat three top 6 teams. And we have the best player in the state coming and the talent we have that are staying will only get better.

Got Downvoted I see. When have you seen our basketball team achieve better than Brownell has achieved? Not defending the guy but the future is looking better. And we beat UNC in Chapel Hill. If you can’t see they are improving from previous years you’re crazy.

Again. If you cannot see the improvement by the top teams we defeated barring our injuries and with the freshmen team we have you’re being delusional. These are facts. How can you not be excited about the future when most of our team is freshmen.

If you turn around and get beat down by the worst teams in your conference, it’s hard to sell real improvement to the fan base.
I’m looking forward to the talent coming in next year, but if people aren’t happy with the coach and his results I get it. People want consistency and they don’t want to keep hearing “but all the injuries” and “we’re young” “wait til next year!” The Coach has been here 10 years. Hovering around .500 winning percentage can’t cut it forever.

I seem to recall a Sweet 16 appearance, followed by an embarrassing second round home loss in the NIT, to be followed most likely by no post-season appearance. You call that improving from year-to-year? I call it regressing.
