Next baseball coach Monte Lee from CofC??

I am sure most will object bc he coached at USC but I would love if we went after Monte Lee from CofC.
Great coach. He is young and relates to players. Great recruiter.
He is a Charleston grad.
Not the marquee name but one that I think should be considered.

I agree. Jack will be back next year.
All I am saying is IF he is gone we should look at Lee.
I think we need a young coach who has no clemson ties. Fresh blood.

As a Gamecock, I will concur that he would be an excellent choice and surely would take the job. He foucusses on fielding, pitching, hitting, of course, media, fan and player relationshops. A good recruiter, and good man, a Great baseball coach. But as other have mentitoned, is there and opening for a head Coach at Clemson? Peace out ... Davy Boy.

I seriously thought this meant he was a coach at Southern Cal after reading this. I don't think Scar ties would be an awful thing. If he coached at Scar, he was under Ray Tanner and he did a lot of good things for that program. Clemson baseball facilities are not great. Most big college programs have a weight room and cages under the stadium like a major league stadium, at least have their own weight room. Clemson baseball shares Jervey with every other varsity team except football and basketball. I think the facilities should be the first thing to change, wow some of the kids with new facilities that always helps with recruiting, Clemson football proved that

Who said I was looking for a baseball coach.
All I simply say is that when the time comes (this year, next) I think we need to look "outside the family" and consider Monte Lee.
I like Lecroy but I think that I prefer Monte. Just my opinion.
As for Jack.....I am not a fan. Have not been for several years but I will support him. I just don't think his "old school style" resonates well with todays kids. Just think that is hard for todays kids to relate.

I would love to see the Liberty coach come here and then beat the coots all day long. He holds many grudges from what I am told. He did all the recruiting for the coots and built that team. He would be better than the C of C coach for sure!
