APBA Football Board Game with Clemson v Alabama included

http://apba.stores.yahoo.net/approfogawi21.html

I'm a big APBA baseball player, but saw this and decided to purchase. I have not received it yet, but thought some on here might be interested.

out an old baseball version (1979 season) now and again for kicks.

It's great that they've added college teams now.

I remembers seeing advertisements, for APBA football about forty years ago, when I was buying all the football magazines. I didn't realize they were still around. I never bought one but always thought about getting one. What age level would enjoy playing? Is it multi-player or single? Do you give it thumbs up for enjoying the game?

A literate 7-year-old can play the basic version and enjoy,

especially baseball as it doesn't require as much play by play decision-making - line-ups and pitching changes mostly. With the football game you call your own plays each time, and you can add in defensive adjustments as an option, so it's a little more engaging.

It's much better as a tactile dice game with cards than when they tried to go online during the dot com and fantasy outbreak. There's something about rolling dice out - 2 color for 36 different combinations, where the player involved has 36 different outcomes based on the circumstance and the roll - simple enough yet a multitude of results, and pretty darn accurate over time.

You can hustle through games or string them out as you please. Definitely worth a flyer.
