I don't know... they lost by 39!!!! In the end that did them in imo.... if they were within 1-2 scores it may have been treated differently... but 39! Man that is Clemson / USuC level beat down

Yeah, teams with 2 losses that also have a 39-point loss do not make the playoffs.
Let's also not forget they lost to Pitt...so while Penn State might be the B1G Champs, they also aren't even the champions of Pennsylvania.
Kinda hard to argue you got jobbed for national title consideration when you can't even win your own state.
