That was kinda weak if you ask me. A lineman was laying on his leg. 15 yards sure but ejection...nah.

I agree it wasn't a great kick, but I think the refs were right. Consider, for instance, that when someone tries to punch somebody in a helmet, they do more damage to their hand than to the opponent, but it still warrants an ejection.

I understand a punch warrants ejection but it almost looked like the dude was hurting trying to get the guy off of him. Still a boneheaded play though no doubt.

But nothing for laying on his leg and twisting his ankle...?

Clearly seen on the replay... Why wasn't that reviewed? How about the other Miss St lineman that threw a punch in front of the refs?

I tend to agree, but unfortunately, that kick just looked bad. I mean, the first little one he gave he could have gotten away with, but then he pulled his leg back and went pretty hard on the second.

Meanwhile, the OL is laying on his leg twisting his ankle...

Dec 30, 2019, 5:30 PM

Refs had to have seen the replay... It wouldn't do for me to be a coach because the very next play I'd have 3-4 guys hit that OL from every possible direction --- up, down and sideways. If you want to play dirty, then you can watch from the tent.
