I’m not sure how we were tagged with the choking label. Hillbillies are the greatest chokers of all time. Lose to a 5 and 5 team still having a shot at the playoffs. Typical VW.

WVU has 2 losses, and the CFPC has indicated that no teams with 2 losses will make the playoff. I think we can stick a fork in them now. If they somehow beat OU this week, then OU is also out, along with the entire Big 12.

Granted very unlikely WVU will make the playoffs this year, but the committee has no such two-loss disqualification.

Count me against WVU in the ACC.

I would be OK with Notre Dame.

Last spot (to make 16) , not sure who, but NOT WVU, UCF, Cincinnati

Maybe Navy.

2007. All they needed to do was beat 4-7 Pitt at home and they were gonna be in the BCS national title game. This was the really good Pat White led team with crazy offense under Rich Rod.

They choked hard and lost 13-9. Still I think the biggest choke in the last 20 years in CFB.

That 2007 game, Big East officials were trying to give WVU the game and they still wouldn't take it. Think this year the team was so focused on arguing how "horns down" wasn't a taunt in the Texas game that they forgot to prepare.
