sounds different reading what Dabo has to say about what is going on.

Pride, passion, focusing on the positive ? . . I don't know.

Exuberance, youthful hunger - something.

It may not amount to a hilla beans come fall Saturdays, but I bet it will at some point. It just doesn't read the same as before. Wishful thinking on my part ?

As a die-hard fan I feel the same way. It was getting hard to be hopeful after a decade of Bowden let downs and excuses. If Tommy were still head coach, I don't know if I could even stand to read his comments anymore. It would be so interesting if Clemson finally went BCS bowling with Bowden's recruits on the field and Swinney's attitude at the helm. It would be funny if all it took was a new, tough, no-excuses attitude. But with 2 new coordinators and a bunch of new staff, it would be hard to pin any change solely on the new attitude.

Las Vegas has Clemson as 60:1 to win the BCS. So there's a chance. Keep hope alive!
