I’ll always have a spot in my heart for Charlie whitehurst. With our recent success at the QB position people tend to forget him. Especially the younger folks. That man made some very memorable plays for us and gave us some great moments. Too many to list

after the texas tech game, it was not hard to love that kid for his toughness. He did not complain all night as he took his beating.

I watched that game from a bar in Goose Creek. SC . I was with my coot brother and a recent Coot engineering grad . Was a miserable night , and I think I blacked out afterwards .
