ND Fan And Cancer Battler Kid At The Coin Toss

I wish there had been a formal introduction of the young man at the coin toss who is fighting for his life and everything he has in in his life in his cancer battle. May God put His arms around him and his family and all who know and support him. Just a reminder that this game is just a small part of what we all should be about. May God bless us all!

It worked for Purdue vs Ohio State so I guess they tried it. It is hard to play against a terminal cancer patient.

a child was selected for each team to be the honorary captain of the team. At the game they were introduced with a video on that large screen at ATT Stadium. Sorry that tv audience didn't get to see that as it was a memorable part of the opening of the game.

I wish we all could have seen it. It is very special for them and their families, and it is a great reminder that we are blessed to have great health and to be able to lift up those who don't. I'm just glad they let the kids be at the coin toss, even if unmentioned. I'm sure it was a highlight for them.
