Still amazes me when you have 11 guys on a defense how huge not having a Tyler Davis caliber player Is. I mean easy to see if starting QB is out but since the focus is not as great on the individual play of lineman I think we sometimes miss how big a loss it is not having a Tyler Davis in the game.
Look at Miami game he created havoc in the middle disrupting zone read etc. He frees up things for LBs too, it goes on and on

If he not back for ND this Is a really really big deal

also were missing our defensive captain LB James Skalski, and our best DB Derion Kendrick for the Syracuse game. So, some of the problems from yesterday was missing those guys.

Plus, for whatever reason, we seem to struggle with Syracuse almost every year.
