... to see more timely hitting with runners on base.
Seemed like we got a lot of hits, but then we couldn't come up with that one timely hit to drive in a bunch of runs when we had men on base.
Great game though! A lot of toughness in our relievers to protect that slim lead for 5 innings.

Have to agree with you apex. 10 hits you got to score more than 3 runs. Stats on your side but we didn’t get many free passes, and we struck out our customary dozen times a game.

Depth is important with injuries to Cromwell and Keir, Hall steps up along with Byrd and Teo. How about that double by him. If Teo starts hitting, along with his brilliant defense, he will see a lot more playing time. Good news!

Yes that was great news. Stepped up there and whacked him a good double. I just hate we couldn’t plate him after that. Made a good jump on that one flyball though.
Hopefully kier can be back next weekend.
