Just listened to Mike Griffith from Dawgvent I think?
Crying and whining over esecpn teams bailing due to corona. Says all the cancellations helped gators rest b4 uga game.
Here are the real reasons:
Richt said DW4 didn’t fit their system
Picked Fields over TL16
BUT more importantly picked fromme over fields.
Now u have Stetson Bennett XVI starting

Flawda and Jawja EACH had to play the week before the Cocktail Party.
Jawja played Kentucky before Flawda. That might as well been an off week for them.

They didn't pick Fields over Trevor. Trevor picked Clemson over UGA. Two totally different statements.

Kirby Smart was in love with Jake Fromm when he had Fields sitting on the bench. That would have been just like Dabo sticking with Kelly Bryant two years ago instead of giving Trevor a real chance to prove himself. Thank goodness Dabo saw that Trevor was the better QB and made him the starter.

Your post is ridiculously inaccurate...
They went all in on TL and at that time Fields was committed to Penn St.
When TL committed to Clemson, because UGA was never really in it for him, they pulled their to Fields which made him decommit for Penn St and commit to UGA...
Lastly, Fromm, up to that point, had done NOTHING to deserve to lose his starting job. Fields was impatient and decided to transfer citing racism...go figure.

Except for calling it ‘ridiculously inaccurate‘ (I’m a Libra and we’re known for just trying to be nice, non-confrontational, and getting along with our fellow man - and woman - kind...) great comment and valid points.
I think this situation also points out how special ( amazing ?) it is that we get guys who commit to Clemson knowing full well that they probably will not be starting immediately - Deshaun and DJ specifically.
