why take away anything that might give us an edge on the field/in recruiting?

If the team came out in public support of the woo-hoo I'd woo-hoo with all my might. Nothing looks or sounds stupid when you're winning.

Perception is just that, perception. If this helps unite the team and makes them win more games, and that in turn makes 4 and 5 star recruits want to be a part of the family within the overall Clemson family that is the Clemson football team, then it's a positive.

Pop culture and the verbage used in rap/hip-hop music is a powerful thing, why not harness it and use it to our advantage rather than pushing against it as uncouth and moronic?
