Yea, I saw this during the halftime report on the game last night. I think you pretty much have to have all of the other cantidates either blow up and lose, or get injured. 2013 could be a nice opportunity for Boyd!

he is forced to make plays on a regular basis and not consistently throwing PA on high-percentage plays, and he would be average.

I don't mind seeing emotion from players, but crying came off like a bit much to me. Dude has already won a national championship and has 5 star kids all over the field making plays for him.

It's hard for me to feel sad for a guy like that who "almost" lost 1 game.

Now if Lattimore cried over his injury (couldn't tell since he hid his face) I think that would be totally legit. Someone who has worked as hard as him and done all the right things, only to have a 2nd season ending injury in a row. That is a legit time to be upset.
