out of the war, behind the scenes, he desperately wanted the US to enter the war. Said another way, he lied to the American people but he's regarded as a "great" president.

President Trump apparently recognized the seriousness of covid but tried to mitigate the impact on the economy.

Trump's was simple. He blew it. All he had to do was to make masks a priority, sanitizing hands a priority, and making it clear that Covid was real, not a hoax, and to be somewhat cautious. That wouldn't have ruined the economy or freaked the nation out. He made it political and divided. He is just a terrible leader and choked.
