Clemson Class Ring question...

Can anybody who has ordered a class ring please let me know the overall size difference between the medium and large ring size?

The Balfour website doesn't give any information regarding this except that the medium is the most popular. Is the medium the standard ring size that you see most often?

Yes. The medium ring is the common male ring you see on most graduates.

Large is too large unless you are a lineman.

If you have a chance to visit the Alumni center they have examples you can see in real life and judge for yourself . At least they used to back in the day.

Long story short, I have two class rings now. The first one the original, that I lost for two years, was the medium. I have large hands, not huge, and the medium is comfortable. The large ring that I bought and wore for a couple years, I can feel more pressure on my middle and pinky finger. Maybe if I started wearing the large one first I would'nt have noticed it as much. And it is harder to get into gloves.

ring like I have (10K yellow gold medium size) cost now. $983??????

Mine cost my parents a little over $100 if I remember right when we ordered it in 1976.

I have the large ring and while it took a while to get use to I wouldn't want the smaller ring now. I have large hands and the wider band looks better on my hand than the smaller ring does.
