As you read, the Falcons have put a 'Franchise Tag" on Grady.

Best line from article: "The franchise tag is reportedly worth $15.2 million."

3 star, under-sized, under-weight who outworked everyone and proved them all wrong.

God Bless Grady Jarrett one of my favorite all time Tigers.

I only wish that Boulware, another of my favs...could have gotten some kind of deal.

They have until July to work on a long term deal. I think they are trying to get a deal made that would keep Grady in Atlanta fir a while

Falcons have to eat all that in cap space this year and will hamper their ability to spend in free agency.

Jarrett loses out on long term guaranteed money.

It would be be best for both sides to work out a deal so the falcons can defer some of the cap hit.

Coming off his rookie contract too..he made 1.97m in 2018, quite the bump to 15.2m for this year.
