OP won more than any coach before him.

If you think OPIE is a better coach than Brownell you ought to stick with picking football coaches.

Offense? - no - consistent stretches of 5 min without scoring, just about the worst assist numbers in all of basketball.
Defense? Nope. We can't stop much of anyone.
Sad part is - I am a card carrying pumper and for me to get down takes a lot.
I see nothing to get excited about. No offense, no defense, no shot blockers, no great guard work, no rebounding, no blocking out. We don't scare anyone.
I lived thru the "slab five" and they were coached up by Barnes his first year (did not have "his" recruits) and they won a few conference games. So why can we not do the same now?
Chemistry? Coaching? Recruiting?
If you ask me - it is not recruiting - before you yell at me - there are plenty of teams out there with 2-3 star talent that can play ball or scare teams. Davidson? Butler? Etc etc.

Wow - I married a UNC grad and she got so bored with this game - she went to watch a rerun of something on network TV.
And we wonder why the students don't go to games.
We are simply uncompetitive and boring to watch.
I will still watch and hope.
Oh, cool, we are 4 minutes into second half and already up to 19 points.
At least they seem to play hard. Not sure what they are trying to do - but playing hard.

it's going to take many years to scratch and claw our way to the top of the ACC. It's going to be a ton of work and we're all going to be basketball-miserable every step of the way. I'm guessing three or four more years.
One thing is for sure, complaining isn't going to make anyone feel better.
