he was from a puppy mill and had lived in a cage the entire two years of his life. Couldn't understand stairs (up or down) for about 6 months. He didn't jump, he just tumbled over. Heck for a month or so all he did was spin around in a circle (like he was still in the cage). I had to build him a ramp to walk in/out of the house on. Had to literally teach him how to interact with open dimensional space.

But he eventually learned how to negotiate stairs (and other surroundings) well. Just took time and a lot of patience.

Puppy Mill owners belong on one of the lower tiers of H/e/l/l.
