Is further along than Bowers, Adams, Beasley, and Lawson at this point in their respective freshman seasons. Agree?

Bowers was pretty far along, but this kid is plug and play. I can't wait to see him after another year in the weight program.

Too young to remember the first half of Bowers and Adams career, but I would say he's much further along than Vic and Shaq were at this point. Vic was a TE coming in and started to really turn heads shortly after. If I remember correctly, I believe Shaq may have spent a year at Hargrave Military Academy. X is great and will continue to prove himself as the season goes on. Don't forget about KJ Henry either. Excited to see both grow as Clemson legends.

Yes. He has the speed to play middle linebacker.

But, having that speed at defensive end helps make him a difference maker.

Not sure he couldn't be a difference maker in the middle as well. He is explosive and fast.

He stands to be the best DE we've ever had. He could probably hold that position as the starter on any other team in the NCAA.
