But this weekend could be a huge weekend with XT. If he is leaning our way, then having him at the Spring game with TL can only help our chances. Also, I hope that XT and TL continue to talk to Zamir about playing together. I'm sure that Z's mom will love her visit too.

Hopefully he's thinking clearly about his future and what he wants to be a part of. Obviously he's going to do well wherever he goes, but the question is whether he wants to be a part of a winning program and hold up a trophy after a championship, or more often than not walking off the field in defeat after loss, just hoping to avoid injury before a shot at the pros.
Regardless of what he grew up being a fan of, he's got a choice to make. Winner or loser.
We'd love to have him. I won't trash him if he decides otherwise.... we'll be fine either way.

At the end of the day I still believe if the coots have a decent year that's where he's going. If we can give them another 56-7 beat down and they win 4 games then I think we land him. So right now everyone is just guessing

This has happened before twoods, don't fall for Morrell's inside info...it's really poor.
Very little chance anything he says with XT is true, very likely he is being trolled by "sources."
We certainly have a chance with XT but I don't think a decision is imminent.

and it may all be true, but it's very difficult for me to believe with all his "twitter shenanigans" from the get go, family fandom, growing up a diehard USC fan, making multiple trips to USC, etc......that he would swing our way.
He may commit to clemson, but he just seems like Jadaveon Clowney part II...........regardless of what happens I'll only believe it when the ink dries on NSD 2018.......or sooner if he's enrolling early.......don't underestimate his trolling ability.

is here. XT has been playing the "game" all along. He enjoys it. The news is, Tony Morrell,the BE ALL END ALL as far as knowing about Coot recruiting and has been predicting XT to the Coots for 18 months,CHANGED his prediction this morning. Even on the radio Tuesday,w hen he's usually on with Mickey ,he was still sure XT was a Coot.
Something's up.
Not only did XT go to that abysmal display of a Spring game, he had to go back to IMG and hear what all the other HS Superstars from across the Nation thought of it.
Again,there's a chance you could be right, but something has made they most knowledgeable Coot reporter out there change his mind after 18 months.

LOL I'm not missing anything. He "might" be a Clemson lean this week and if so, great---I hope it sticks. But a lot can turn on a dime with kids---any parent knows that. And XT loves---and I mean loves---the recruiting game and all the attention it brings.

No...That was another poster...Said he worked with his father and he indicated that he was going to USC...
There have been many theories on him...such as the family business would tank if he went to Clemson etc...
I think he is going to USCjr because its what I would do being a lifelong Clemson fan...Its really that simple...

I made mention of Tony switching ,I made mention in the Tony thread about Phil saying he's heard rumblings.First,not everyone has time to go through every thread on TNet. Second,if Phil is willing to admit "rumblings",he has 100% proof before he'd mention the Coot's best recruit in a generation FLIPPING to Clemson.
It's all good,just putting the info in both threads. Some seem to think this is all hinging XT and his Twitter,when the Twitter playing started after Morrell lost his mind,telling the Coots that they had been played since Dec.

I think rumblings and crystal balls are fantastic , but only proof and a commitment to Clemson will I celebrate .
It's exciting having the top player in 2018 committed and knowing that 2 and 3 are going to be joining him today to experience Clemson together ...perhaps not for the last time .

I am hoping that XT validates those rumblings by the end of the day today. It'd be great for him to commit while ZW and his mom are still in Clemson. One thing is for sure...we'll know how much water that CB by Tony held.... a lot I hope.
