Agree. Feels much more open like college instead of the NFL

These may not be the best players as compared to the NFL, but they are playing free and obviously love playing the game. The flow of the game is terrific, with no unnecessary delays. Play-calling is aggressive. I like it a lot so far.

Hope it sustains itself this time.

I can easily see the NFL poaching the good players and coaches. That seems to be the biggest pessimistic thought I can come up with.

Im enjoying these games though. Not bad

The XFL games today were a lot of fun. I hope it stays alive. They offered insights into coaches calling plays. I liked the in-game payer interviews. It’s stuff I’ve never seen before. The gameplay was fast and fun. Good job this time around.

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

Pleasantly surprised with the XFL

Games were enjoyable and I like some of the new rules (if they are going to mess with kickoff's this is the way to do it). I like having the options to go for 1, 2, or 3 points after a TD.

Looks like Vince McMahon learned a lot from his last excursion into football - just enough tweaks to the game to keep it going smoothly, and got rid of all the "entertainment show" BS that ruined his first go at the XFL.

One other thing the XFL appears to have done is smartly reduce the venue size (smaller stadiums) for the games. This way, the 20,000(+) crowd in the stands make for a much fuller stadium where the fan involvement (i.e. cheering/noise) is heard on TV and pumps up the players. Much better than playing in a scantly populated 65,000(+) stadium that looks empty where the fan involvement appears minimal.
